Driving Montana

Driving Montana We set off in pursuit of Montana's unlimited
speed highways at the very end of September.
Our goal isn't to set any land speed records,
just to prove that it's possible to travel safely
and efficiently faster than 55 or even 70. To do
so legally in the U.S.A. will be a new freedom.

Assembling the usual road trip gear: Rand
McNally Road Atlas, AAA maps and Tour
Books, cooler, various electronics and safety
equipment recalls earlier passages through
the state. Rugged Rockies and flowing streams
out West, flat and rolling plains in the East bring
an enticing variety of scenery and roads....
