program scanner for states & mobiles only?  (check extender freqs)

pack cds

wax car

fix airdam

change oil and filter redline 20-50

change air filter (optional)

set v belt tension to spec

new eyeglass prescription

get GPS (Garmin Street Pilot)?  So far maps have worked
fine, but some of the instantaneous mileage calculations and
other info one can get could be useful.  Plus real time
navigation is cool and a pretty sure way not to get lost.
Downside: cost, complexity, gadget overload, regular maps work fine.
